Program Overview
Waterborne diseases account for a significant portion of avoidable illness in the region. Our WASH program focuses on sustainable infrastructure and behavioral change to eliminate these risks.
We drill boreholes, rehabilitate water pans, and construct modern sanitation facilities in schools and marketplaces. Beyond infrastructure, we lead community-led total sanitation (CLTS) campaigns that empower villages to declare themselves open-defecation free.
These interventions have drastically reduced cholera and typhoid outbreaks, keeping children in school and allowing families to focus on economic productivity rather than illness.
Our Impact
- Community-led approach ensuring sustainability
- Direct impact on vulnerable populations
- Aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals
